About Me

I’m Claire Thomas, and I'm a registered nutritional therapist and NLP coach who empowers you to look after yourself and enjoy life by making personalised nutrition and life changes. This allows you to experience such things as having more energy, losing weight, balancing hormones and improving digestive issues.

My mission when working with you is to help you navigate all the confusion out there about how to have the health you want, find what works for you and put achievable actions into place to help you reach your goals. I create a plan as unique as you are, that looks at nutrition, mindset and lifestyle changes to help you to have the health you want.

I understand how challenging it can be not having the get up and go you want! The heaviness and difficulty in getting up in the morning, even when you’ve had a full night’s sleep. The brain fog, achy limbs and attempting to keep up with the demands of a busy life, when all you want to is lie on the sofa and sleep!

The feeling that all you're doing is getting what needs to be done and having to miss out on the lovely things in life you want to do. The loss of concentration, forgetting words in the middle of sentences and never feeling productive! The bloating, sluggishness and uncomfortable feelings after eating. The trying to lose weight but never getting there no matter what diet you try, feeling uncomfortable in your own body and the sense that it's let you down.

I see you. I have had many health issues over the years which have impacted my health and how I've felt about myself. From 2012 to 2018 I lived with Chronic Fatigue Syndrome. A few years prior to this I had glandular fever and recovered from that. However, further illness had meant my body could no longer function efficiently and chronic fatigue developed. As I researched ways to speed up my own recovery, I became really interested in the power of nutrition and positive mindset, and these, alongside my Christian faith, gave me the tools I needed to recover from Chronic Fatigue syndrome and be able to have good health.

In 2019 I had a now or never moment, and an opportunity came to leave my job as a children’s nurse, go back to university to study and retrain as a nutritional therapist. During my time at university, I also qualified as a Neuro Linguistic Programming (NLP) practitioner as I see the value in bringing together positive mindset changes alongside nutrition advice. I’m a member of the British Association for Nutrition and Lifestyle Medicine (BANT), and the Complementary and Natural Healthcare Council (CNHC).
